We assisted Galliford Try Partnerships in preparing initial proposals for a parcel of land at Gallions Reach, Newham (next to the Great Eastern Quays site) as part of an invited competition run by the Greater London Authority.

The scheme formed part of a tertiary phase of developments within a wider masterplan for the north-eastern end of the Royal Albert Basin which already includes significant developments by Notting Hill Housing and Telford Homes.

Our design proposals included 151 residential units, with over 50% affordable and a further split between shared equity and social rent. The design took account of existing and emerging development in the area and offered an elegant contextual response to the site and competition brief.
