Benenden Boarding House Refurbishment, Kent

Project Details

KSS has recently completed a range of upgrades for one of the leading boarding schools in the UK. Benenden School is a top independent school for girls aged 11-18 located within 250 acres of beautiful parkland in Kent.

Our scope of works included an internal refurbishment of the existing houses of ‘Medway’ year seven and ‘Marshall’ years 8-11. The refurbishment was completed ahead of the new academic year in September.  This included refreshing the dormitories and bathrooms with key interventions and reconfigurations to social student spaces, including ‘booters’ areas, study spaces and the social snugs. Additionally, developed personalised identity graphics and artwork packages throughout the houses, focusing on the school’s ethos, women in education and the history of the places.
