KSS ATTEND PIKE CLOSE TOPPING-OUT CEREMONY

Last month, the KSS team attended the topping-out ceremony for the first building of the Pike Close estates in which a total of 170 new homes will be delivered, comprising 92 homes for social and affordable rent and 78 for private sale. The latest development is expected to be completed by Winter 2031 and will include 159 apartments, eight three-storey townhouses and three maisonettes following approval from Bromley Council in March 2022.

Pike Close estates is being rebuilt by Countryside Partnerships to provide every existing Riverside customer with a new and improved home that better meets their needs, with all existing social tenants offered a home on the newly built estate and their rent and tenancy terms protected.

Local councillors, including Councillor Alisa Igoe, Councillor Will Connolly, and Councillor Adam Jude Grant, as well as Riverside and Countryside colleagues and current residents of the estates, attended the event.

The project aims to tackle overcrowding issues and improve accessibility while offering modern, more spacious, and energy-efficient housing.
