Celebration Day at new £45m Thurrock Campus

Last weekend, South Essex College held an open event for local community and student applicants as part of a Celebration Day at the new Thurrock Campus.

The KSS designed site features a fantastic array of state-of-the-art facilities that will be open to students in September 2014. The one day event saw a host of music artists, dance groups and musical theatre performances in the new amphitheatre. Visitors were entertained throughout the day in the stunning entrance plaza and got a first glimpse of the new £45m development. The celebration day also had performances from local bands, beauty and hairdressing demonstrations and a BBQ within the central campus landscape.

The purpose built 15,000sqm Thurrock Campus will bring fantastic facilities to Grays town centre and will provide students with an extraordinary environment to further their education.
