Proposals revealed for King Power Stadium

The public consultation for the King Power Stadium development opened last week as Leicester City FC unveiled its vision to transform their stadium and surrounding areas.

The KSS proposals will see the capacity of the stadium increase to 40,000 alongside significant retail and commercial developments including a 220-room hotel and a multi-purpose event and entertainment arena.

Enhancements to the site will underline Leicestershire’s reputation as a home of world-class sport and create a 365-day destination that will support the regeneration of an area that has been the home of the Football Club for 130 years. KSS Director David Keirle said “It’s a real privilege to be working on such an exciting and transformational project for this great Club and the wider City.”

Feedback so far has been very positive from both fans and locals and the public consultation continues online until 2 September. https://www.lcfc.com/stadiumconsultation/our-vision
