Planning success for Arlesey Cross

KSS have recently achieved outline-planning consent for a new mixed-use development at Arlesey Cross in Bedfordshire for our client Telereal Trillium.

The development comprises 950 new homes, health and community facilities, employment uses, lower school, 80 bed extra care home, hotel and the completion of a new relief road.  In addition, the scheme looks to deliver innovative, inclusive and sympathetic uses to the heart of the development including shops, cafes, leisure and community uses around the new public square.

Our masterplan delivers a significant and extensive commitment to high quality open public space. The green infrastructure includes swales and ponds, and has a dual role of protecting the community from future flooding, as well as creating areas with significant ecological benefits.
