Irish Building & Design Awards shortlist

KSS are delighted to announce that our new Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena in Dublin has been shortlisted at the Irish Building & Design Awards in the category ‘Cultural Project of the Year’.
The Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena officially opened in January 2017 providing one of the best facilities for indoor sports in the world. The Arena covers 18,000sqm and is split into three areas; The National Indoor Training Centre, The National Indoor Athletics Training Centre and The National Gymnastics Training Centre.
The Indoor facility has been a huge success hosting regular events and has already become a critical asset for the local community. Recently, the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena held one of Europe’s oldest tournaments, The Irish Open, a tournament that has been in existence since 1902 signalling a new beginning for Ireland’s premier badminton event.
The Irish Building & Design Awards acknowledges the best in all areas of construction design and build excellence.
The awards will be announced at a ceremony on the 7 April at Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin.
