Planning application for Meopham School in Kent

This week, KSS submitted a planning application on behalf of Kier Construction, Kent County Council and the Education Funding Agency for Meopham Secondary School in Kent.
Our designs revitalise the School with an inspiring and unified campus that delivers a form and infrastructure that allows for flexibility in teaching methods now and in the future. Our proposals consolidate the existing school accommodation within a single building providing a dramatic change in image with a dark colour palette blending harmoniously into the wooded surroundings drawing parallels with the ‘village green’ typography that is prevalent across Kent.
The new School facilities will mainly be used by students and staff, but also the local community who will have access to the sports reception area, Sports Hall, Activity Studio, associated community sports store and changing rooms.
With KSS’ thorough understanding of transformational education and contemporary teaching methods, our designs for Meopham Secondary School will provide a sustainable learning environment that will create the perfect learning platform for the younger generation of Kent.
