Leicester City FC Training Ground shortlisted at Structural Steel Awards

We are delighted to announce that our Leicester City FC Training Ground project has been shortlisted at the 2021 Structural Steel Design Awards.

A beacon of ambition for the future, the state-of-the-art new complex in Seagrave marks the next stage in Leicester City’s development and is now home to the Club’s entire professional and academy football operation.

The Foxes first used the site late last year and the team reaction was extremely positive, with Manager Brendan Rodgers describing the transition as being a ‘different world altogether’ for the Club.

The Structural Steel Design Awards celebrate the excellence of the United Kingdom in the field of steel construction, particularly in terms of efficiency, cost effectiveness, aesthetics, sustainability and innovation.

The design team comprised of KSS, contractor McLaren, structural engineers TRP Consulting, and steelwork contractor BHC Limited, all look forward to attending the awards ceremony at Spitalfields on 28 September.
