Latest primary school completes in Kent

Last month, Halfway Houses Primary School was officially opened on The Isle of Sheppey, Kent.

The new 3FE school continues our work with Kier Construction as part of the Education Funding Agencies Priority School Building Programme in conjunction with Kent County Council.

Our designs retain the calm, green, natural character of the school’s location capturing the unique ‘forest school’ ethos creating a positive connection between inside and out.

The new building has a progressive relationship with the immediate context and also with the residential buildings which enclose the landscaped space. The materials used have been generated by its suitability for the local climate and conditions providing an attractive, natural, warm, and welcoming school building and environment.

The completion of Halfway Houses Primary School has not only provided the local community with an outstanding and visually striking building, but also a first class centre of learning for the students.
