KSS charity events and Merry Christmas

Every year KSS employees help to raise money for charities which have a special connection to all of us. In 2014, KSS have been involved in multiple fundraising activities for Sport Relief, Ovarian Cancer Action, Breast Cancer Campaign, Pilgrims Hospices, and West London Day Centre.

Highlights include Sport Relief and Breast Cancer Campaigns ‘Wear It Pink’ with KSS organising a variety of office games and fancy dress competitions. In July, KSS Director James Budd took on the Ventoux Cycle Challenge in France in aid of Ovarian Cancer Action. The challenge included a three-day ascent through some of the steepest, windiest and wildest cycle climbs in Europe. In the lead up to the event KSS organised a ‘Bake-Off’ with employees making cakes, desserts and other scrumptious treats. This was followed by the viral video of the moment, the ‘Ice-Bucket Challenge’ which James participated in to the amusement of KSS staff and passers-by in St. Christopher’s Place. Chills and thrills were certainly on the menu for this fundraising activity.

This month, KSS have given a donation to Pilgrims Hospices in memory of former KSS employee Paula Standen who sadly passed away this year. KSS have also been donating clothes and food to the West London Day Centre which aims to transform the lives of people affected by homelessness.

All the team at KSS would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas, and look forward to a great 2015.
